Regulated OFQUAL courses are the only ones that we recommend.

Ofqual accredited

With Ofqual-regulated regulate training, you do not have to prove the competency of your chosen trainer. OFQUAL registration guarantees the required standards, meaning you meet your legal responsibilities.

HSE Approved course
No Awarding Body

Without Ofqual regulation, you are required to complete your own checks on the training organisation and their trainers.

If this is not done, you do not meet your legal responsibilities

Barry and Hannah carried out training for 12 of our scaffolding operatives.
They enjoyed the sessions and said they had learnt a lot of information which they would find useful in the future. So well done Barry and Hannah

Would definitely recommend…
I completed the blended FAW course. There was a lot to learn in a short space of time, but Barry was great! We could have a laugh with him which made us feel more relaxed. I am now confident and have the knowledge to put into practice when needed.

Great!
I thoroughly enjoyed the 3 days from start to finish. Barry is an incredibly good teacher and made the session engaging and fun.
I’ve learnt a lot and feel much more confident that I could be of help in many different emergency scenarios.

Engaging, effective, and important
As always Barry made the practical learning fun and interactive so that the information is easy to remember. The blended form of training was much easier to fit into busy working lives and the interactive online training meant you could go back to sections if needed.

Meet Hannah

Hi my name is Hannah. I am the Internal Quality Assurance Officer for Training 999.

My background is as a registered paramedic. My role is to ensure that training is delivered consistently. I make sure we meet the requirements of the national Awarding Bodies. You might see me sitting in on a training course, as I am often there to ensure the quality of delivery.

I worked in physiotherapy before becoming a paramedic. I still work clinically on NHS frontline ambulances, in addition to working in admission avoidance.

My hobbies are anything related to keeping chickens and I like to keep fit by swimming,

Hannah Leavold

Blended Learning

Consider Blended Learning, which also gives you to meet your legal requirements for the health & Safety 1st Aid Act.

Blended learning offers more flexibility. Take part of your training online, reducing your time in the classroom. This also means that less time is lost to travel. This allows you to study the theory module at your own pace. The practical modules are then delivered in the classroom, face-to-face with one of our trainers.
