2 Days Face-to-face + 1 Day Online – First Aid at Work (FAW) is for high-risk enviroments.
Who require trained staff to have in-depth knowledge of First Aid (F.A) and be able to respond to a wide range of injuries that could happen in a high-risk environment. The right training of employees for emergency situations is designed to enable them to save lives.
The FAW course has many different names such as First Aid at Work 3-day, First Aid in the Workplace , and HSE FAW.

Suitable qualification for those needing FAW training for the Security Industry Authority (SIA) or high-risk enviroment.
What Course First Aid Course Do I Need?
The Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) 1 day course is suitable for low-risk places such as offices.
This 1st aid qualification covers high-risk places, such as construction, forestry, or a glazier will likely need the three-day FAW.
The type of training your employer will need is dependent on your First Aid Needs Risk Assessment.
First Aid Provision for Work
The First aid at work training can be delivered at your venue.
FAW course prices are £3000 for a group of up to 12 staff making your 3-day course, only £250 per person or for up to 6 staff £1850.

First Aid at Work Qualification
We make sure you can respond to an emergency and are safe by assessing your knowledge using multiple choice question papers and practical assessments of your practical skills.
First Aid at Work Certificate
On completion of the level 3 F.A.W. training Successful FAW 3-day students will be given a FAW certificate.

First Aid at Work Renewal
The First Aid at Work qualification is valid for Three Years from date of completion.
FAW Students will need to attend a renewal course l when nearing expiry.
This is also known as 2-day First Aid refresher or requalification.
It is strongly encouraged by the HSE employers allow staff to complete annual refresher training every 12 months whilst their FAW certificate is in date.

3-day FAW online course
The HSE allow the 3-day FAW online course to be reduced by 1 day of face-to-face training if taught online.
First aid at work training online or FAW course online is an excellent way to ensure you staff are kept safe with engaging online training.
Training 999 enrol learners onto the online course through an online portal.
Log in details are sent via email and learners complete the E learning before the remaining 2 days of face-to-face training.
The Level 3 FAW course via blended learning or online is the same as the traditional FAW syllabus.
Have you thought about blood loss in your workplace?
The HSE recommend for the workplace first aider where blood loss or uncontrolled bleeding is a possible risk in the workplace, for example working with machinery, specialist training is provided.
Including training the use of catastrophic haemorrhage control devices and blood loss control products.
Catastrophic haemorrhage training can be provided both EFAW and FAW courses and this will be annotated directly onto the F.A. Certificate.
Do You Work Outside?
Persons employed in forestry need to think about additional risks from working outside in the natural environment, such as injury or illness.
The Forestry F.A. +F is a Two hour course as required by the Forestry Commission and includes training in Catastrophic haemorrhage training.

Training for Schools
Schools, and teachers can consider the 1 day or 6 hour Emergency Paediatric E.P.F.A. or the Blended Paediatric F.A. course 12 hours.
Additionally, the Combined FAW and Paediatric F.A. Course is great for schools that require training in both qualifications for working environments or workplaces (HSE) and for children (Ofsted).
