Blended Paediatric First Aid Course – 1 Day Online + 1 Day Face-to-face
our blended paediatric first aid aid course is suitable for any person wishing to act as a Paediatric First Aider.
Blended training means a mixture of Self-directed E Learning (6 hours), followed by face-to-face hands-on training with an instructor (6 hours).
Total duration of the Blended Paediatric First Aid Course is 12 Hours.
Who Is the Blended Paediatric First Aid Course For?
Suitable learners could include First Aid for Schools, First Aid Training for teachers, First Aid training for nurseries, and Paediatric First Aid Training for childminders.
How is the Blended Paediatric First Aid Training Delivered?
In Two 6-hour sessions.
Session One: 6 hours of self-directed First Aid E Learning.
Session Two : 6 hours Face to Face Training with the First Aid Trainer.
We will send you an email with login details to access the Blended Paediatric First Aid E-Learning platform.
The Learner will then login and complete the First Aid E Learning.
The First Aid E Learning covers the theory required before the practical, for example the aims of First Aid.
The online First Aid Training allows you to study at your own speed. Videos and quizzes are available to help you, as you progress through each of the First Aid Training topics.
Each learner will receive a Paediatric First Aid Manual (PDF) that can be downloaded and kept for future reference.
Session Two: Once the online First Aid modules of the Paediatric First Aid Training have been completed, our friendly trainer will arrive at your workplace to complete the hands-on topics of First Aid.
Including, instructing the class on CPR and AED, and in the safe use of Adrenaline Auto Injectors (AAI) for anaphylaxis.

Ofsted do not directly approve First Aid courses and to claim to run a course that is Ofsted approved is false and can carry significant ramifications for the training provider involved.

What Are the Diffrent Types of First Aid Training?
Workplace First Aid Courses are concerned with adult workers who need First Aid Training under the Health and Safety Executive and the First Aid regulations 1981.
These courses are normally the One Day emergency First Aid at Work or the Three Day First Aid at Work.
Workplaces that have children in their care are responsible for providing First Aid to children and are registered childcare settings with Ofsted and Early Years Foundation Stage. These First Aid courses involve Paediatric First Aid.
The One Day or 6 hours long Emergency Paediatric First Aid is suitable for low-risk childcare settings.
However, a nursery with children that have medical conditions. Could be assessed as a high-risk setting and may need the 12 Hour Blended Paediatric First Aid Course.
Paediatric First Aid Training for Early Years and Educational Settings
First Aid for schools, teachers looking for First Aid Training or those looking for First Aid training for schools should consider the 1 day or 6 hour Emergency Paediatric First Aid or the Blended Paediatric First Aid course 12 hours.
Additionally, First Aid training for School staff can involve staff needing to be trained in both workplace First Aid (HSE) and Paediatric First Aid (Ofsted).
The Combined First Aid at Work and Paediatric First Aid Course is great for schools that require both qualifications for workplaces (HSE) and for children (Ofsted).
First Aid and Anaphylaxis Training for Education Settings
Schools must arrange specialist anaphylaxis training for staff where a pupil in the school has been diagnosed as being at risk of anaphylaxis. Workplace 1 Day EFAW Training
The First Aid at Work 1 day course has many different names such as EFAW course, Emergency First Aid at Work Course or 1 Day Emergency First Aid at work. This is for low-risk workplaces such as offices.
The type of First Aid Course your workplace will need is dependent on your First Aid Needs Risk Assessment.

3 Day FAW Training
The most common Workplace First Aid Course or sometimes referred to as First Aid in the Workplace course is the First Aid at Work 3-day course.
The Three-day First Aid at Work course covers everything in the one-day Emergency First Aid course.
Plus, medical conditions, fractures, and crush injuries, also if training is needed on how to stop bleeding fast using blood loss control products for catastrophic haemorrhage this can be provided.

Taught over 3 days the First Aid at work 3-day course is for high risk workplaces such as factories and building sites.
