Combined First Aid at Work (FAW) and Paediatric First Aid (PFA) is for workplaces. Who require First Aiders (F.A.) to have knowledge of medical conditions, and how to respond to, and manage a wide range of injuries and accidents. that involve both adults and children.
Gain two First Aid Qualifications at once: Emergency First Aid at Work Level 3 (EFAW) and the Emergency Paediatric First Aid Qualification (EPFA)
Target audience:
Suitable for any person wishing to act as a First Aider for adults or children. This course is particularly of benefit for schools and after school clubs.
What Course Do I Need?
The First Aid at Work Level 3 (RQF) is suitable for high risk establishments such as manufacturing and is of three days in duration, however if you are a low risk workplace, such as an office your staff may need to only undertake the one day Emergency First Aid at Work qualification.

Have you thought about blood loss in your workplace?
The HSE now recommend where blood loss or uncontrolled bleeding is a possible risk in the workplace, for example working with machinery, specialist training is recommended in the use of catastrophic hemorrhage control devices and blood loss control products.
We are able to provide this training to you on a range of our regulated courses, this will be annotated directly onto the F.A. certificate.
Do you work outside?
Working outside in can expose workers to a range of risks not normally considered, staff that work outdoors can be exposed to risk of animal bites, water borne diseases such as Lyme disease or can be exposed to risk of uncontrolled blood loss. Our two hour Forestry First Aid +F course is designed to added onto a range of F.A. courses.
